# Function: uploadMetadataToIpfs

> **uploadMetadataToIpfs**(`metadata`): `Promise`\<`string`>

Uploads metadata to IPFS and returns the IPFS URL

## Parameters

### metadata

`Record`\<`string`, `any`>

The metadata to upload

## Returns

`Promise`\<`string`>

The IPFS URL of the uploaded metadata
